NJ / PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The most reliable way to get here from the city is via the bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal. PABT is located in Times Square on 42nd and 8th. There are 2 buildings; go in either one. They connect to each other upstairs and there are bathrooms upstairs as well.
During the day go to Gate 200 on the 2nd floor. Buy a round trip ticket in the station from a ticket kiosk near the gate, you want Route 159, Zone 2. At Gate 200 there are 3 buses to choose from, any of them will work with your ticket and get you here: 159, 159X, 156.
The bus will drop you off at 74th Street & Bergenline. You will need to push the stop button to indicate that you want off. I typically look for the Banana King and push the stop button as soon as I see it. There is a Delta gas station on the left hand corner. Our house is 1 block west, the big yellow one on the corner.
At 10pm the buses do change gates. After which you will need to verify with the NJ transit employee which gate to go to. Cost for a one-way is$3.50

Going into the city we typically go to BLVD East down by the cliffs. The buses tend to run more frequently and it’s a beautiful ride that looks over the entire city view. We then just take whatever bus arrives first Jitney or NJ transit. (Not the Ferry bus unless we are taking the ferry)
